The detailed design of track, electric traction (tunnel is to be designed for diesel traction), Signalling are not in the scope of work. However, DDC shall give conceptual design, so that these are taken care of in schedule of dimensions of the tunnel and preparation of detailed designs thereof.

1.11 SCHEDULE OF PAYMENTS
Railway shall make payments to DDC on mile stone basis as given below. The percentage are of the lump sum price accepted for design and consultancy (excluding construction supervision). Payment for construction supervision will be as per the rates accepted in the financial bid on actual man-month basis. The stage payments will be made on completion of the corresponding activities.
